A List of Vampire Books – Various Genres

There are tons of Vampire novels out there for those interested in more books on or about Vampires. People have been writing about Vampires from the early 1700′s. Most of these earlier novels were inspired by Mary Shelley (Frankenstein) and Lord Byron. In fact Polidori’s book Vampyre, which is a romantic vampire novel, was inspired by Lord Byron. Lord Byron wrote a fragmantary story on vampire, and also went on to write the epic poem The Giaour.

For many years the Vampire crazy quieted down, but with Vampire books, movies, and television shows on the rise lately, its no wonder that many authors are finding new adventures for our beloved Vampires.
